Black History Month (BHM) is an annual celebration of the achievements and contributions of African Americans to the history and culture of the United States. It was first celebrated in 1926, when historian Carter G. Woodson and the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History declared the second week of February to be "Negro History Week." In 1976, the celebration was expanded to the entire month of February.
Formation of Black History Month
The idea for a celebration of African American history was first proposed by historian Carter G. Woodson in 1915. Woodson, who was born to former slaves, was a Harvard-trained historian and the founder of the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History. He believed that African American history was an important part of American history and should be celebrated.
In 1926, Woodson and the Association for the Study of Negro Life and History declared the second week of February to be "Negro History Week." The week was chosen to coincide with the birthdays of Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass, two important figures in African American history.
Expansion of Black History Month
In 1976, the celebration was expanded to the entire month of February. This expansion was spearheaded by the Black United Students at Kent State University in Ohio. The students proposed the expansion to the university's administration, and the idea was quickly adopted by other universities and organizations.
In 1986, President Ronald Reagan officially recognized February as Black History Month. Since then, the celebration has grown to include events, lectures, and activities throughout the month of February.

- You have chosen a wrong size , wrong color and wrong type of product .
- Your order was placed 24 hour ago.
- The quality in product is considered good.
- You have changed your mind and wish to return your product.
- The orders can’t be cancelled after 24 hours of placing them. Because we will pass the order information to the production department within 24 hours after receiving the order
- Canceling or request to cancel while item(s) in transit.
- We also will not refund orders without the recipient / recipients not respond to the post office

RETURN AND REFUND
We accept to customer return and refund in following reasons:
– Faulty Item Received: If you receive a faulty item, just send us a picture of it toour email along with your order number. If the item deliver to you would be faulty or if withers off in the first wash, we’ll send you a free reshipment. You don’t have to send it back to us. All we’d need would be a picture of the faulty item.
– Not delivered on time We totally understand that it’s highly frustrating not to receive the orders on time. You might have ordered it for a special occasion or you simply don’t like waiting. All of our product are custom-made-to-order and handcrafted to the highest quality standards. Please allow 6-8 days to receive a tracking number while your order is hand-crafted, packaged and shipped from our facility. Estimated shipping time is 2-4 weeks by the shipping companies to make your order reach you. Because we have several different warehouses, there are some products that are shipped differently at the same time. But, in some cases it might be delayed due to post office issues.
Every post office can’t accommodate packages after a certain limit, hence the delays are caused. We’d really appreciate if you wait for your order for a few more days. We’ll always be there to assist you let you know about it’s status. You’ll have the tracking details too to keep a check on the status. It gets very difficult for us to cancel the order after it leaves our factory. – Wrong size received If you’ve received the wrong size, please check the order you placed with us. We’ve seen in most of the cases that the wrong size if selected by our customers when they place the order without reading description carefully . In cases like those, we only offer discount code 50% to next purchase because we notify very carefully in tittle and description. If you ordered the right size, but still got the wrong one, we’ll be more than happy to send you a free reshipment. Just let us know with a picture of it and we’ll be there to get it done for you.
– Timing for a return All returns / exchanges of online orders, must be returned within 30 days from the day the order was shipped.

It could take up to two weeks for us to receive and process your return. We will credit your original form of payment unless otherwise specified.
MAKING A RETURN TO ANY OF OUR US BEST STORES
All items purchased must be returned in the same condition as they were delivered in and in original packaging. They can not have been assembled and disassembled. A refund or replacement will not be issued if your item is misused, mistakenly installed or mishandled. Please follow the manufacturers instructions at all times. Postage costs may apply in certain circumstances of incorrect choice or mistake purchases to assist in a positive resolution.
The sweatshirt was just as advertised! Came quickly. My fault, but I had been looking for a hoodie. Didn’t realize it wasn’t a hoodie until I received it. Whoops. He still loved the gift. If you don’t already, I recommend carrying it in a hoodie 🙂
